We are incredibly lucky to be able to source these sheepskins that originate from Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England. 

These sheepskins have become incredibly expensive for us to source from the tannery.

*This one got a little dusty on the leather side as I placed it on our deck to photograph 🙄

There are over one hundred purebred sheep breeds found the British Isles, much of the British Isles is suited well for sheep to thrive because of the climate and the terrain. 

These sheepskins can range from feeling silky soft to coarse, and all are raised for different purposes in the wool industry. The breeds with the  more coarse wool types are used in carpet making, and for creating tartan blankets and material, while the softer wools are used for yarn. 

Because there is such a variance in the feel of the wool, we describe each sheepskin in the first sentence of each description.
