Sun Bleaching
For wool-fill bedding, sun-bleaching is a good, simple practice to keep your bedding sterile and fresh. Sun bleaching every one to three months reduces the need for washing. To do so, simply remove your bedding from any covering it may be in (duvet covers or pillow cases) and lay it out in a clean, sunny spot outside for a few hours during the middle of the day when the suns intensity is at its highest. Flip the bedding over during this time so that both sides receive direct sunlight. The sun's powerful energy will sanitize your bedding and the outside air will freshen it up.
Washing
When washing wool products, the important thing is not to agitate the wool, as this causes the fibers to mat together and shrink. Soaking and spinning, though, are fine.
The following items can be washed in a top-loading washing machine by following our simple wash instructions:
*Some printed fabrics may fade if washed or dry cleaned
**Custom Woolen Mills machine-knit socks can be washed in your machine on delicate cycle and hung to dry, or can be washed with our instructions below.
Wash Instructions for Top-loading Washing Machines
1) Fill your machine with warm water and soap. Agitate the water to dissolve the soap.
2) Stop the machine and add your wool.
3) Plunge gently up and down by hand to clean.
4) Let soak for a 15 minutes.
5) Set machine to spin and turn it on, allowing the machine to spin out the soapy water.
6) Fill your machine again with warm water to rinse.
7) Stop the machine (do not allow it to agitate the wool).
8) If desired, add fabric softener.
9) Plunge gently up and down by hand to rinse.
10) Let soak for 15 minutes.
11) Set machine to spin and turn it on, allowing the machine to spin out the rinse water.
12) Hang to dry: comforters, sleeping bags, mattress pads, socks, mitts or hats.
Lay flat to dry: sweaters.
Just remember... DO NOT agitate the wool!

OMG! Pictures do not do it justice. 6'4 250Lbs and i fit every direction. Inside flannel is high quality soft to touch. Expectedly heavy and luxurious. Have to buy another for my wife cause I'm not sharing.

Purchased to use in the sleeper of my truck. The other night it was -22 and I didn't know until my alarm went off and google told me how cold it was. The best money I have spent in a while for sure. I am so impressed with it I intend to purchase more to outfit the whole family with them as regular blankets for at home.

I purchased two of these sleeping bags for my wife and myself about a year ago and have used them dozens of times since. If you want a sleeping bag made of natural fabrics, this is by far the best and warmest I have found. Since wool and cotton breathe so well, we've found this bag has been suitable for 0-30 degrees Celsius. Though if you happen to be using this for tent camping, you'll probably want to consider some form of additional warming or clothing when it gets below freezing. Despite our rather abusive treatment of the bags, they're holding up with no apparent damage so far. I can't suggest these enough - once you use these, you'll never go back!

My husband and I bought 2 sleeping bags 12 years ago for camping. They are AMAZING. We are always the perfect temperature. We loved them so much we decided to use one as a duvet for our bed in our home. If its +30 or -30 we are always the perfect temperature! The quality is second to none. One of our favorite and most appreciated investments!

I am a tall man and require a large sleeping bag. I struggled to find a retailer that created a large enough sleeping bag that would accommodate my height and was good for colder temperatures. I have used this sleeping bag in northern Alberta in temps below -30 Celsius. I have stayed very cozy and warm and with enough room to stuff my next days clothes in the bottom and still be able to pull the sleeping bag over my head. the construction off this bag is far superior to anything i have owned in the past, great zipper and quality materials. I am sure this is the last sleeping bag I will ever have to purchase, it should last a lifetime. The sleeping bag packs up very small considering its size. I highly recommend this sleeping bag for anyone looking for a quality product at a great price.
