Let's talk about where our sheepskins and products come from.

Most of our sheepskins are tanned in Europe as that is where most of the really cool sheep breeds are close to. We know that the sheepskins are tanned with the most environment and skin friendly products and processes.

We also have a tannery close to Mongolia, that we source sheepskins from. They supply us with Mongolian, merino, and soon to be cashmere goat skins. This tannery also has certification of excellent animal husbandry practices.

When it comes to items made from sheepskin, like booties, slippers, mittens and hats we have supported many small businesses in many different countries. Our customers expect quality at a good price, knowing that we have chosen companies that tan the sheepskins with environmental friendly products and processes.

It's taken us almost 6 years in business and over $1,000, 000.00 in sheepskin purchases to source the best tanneries, with the best practices that in turn will supply our customers with the best products.

Would we love to purchase everything Canadian? Absolutely! But right now that's not available, so we continue to be very particular in where our products are made, so that you get the best product at the best price possible.
