This listing is for 2 natural white Icelandics.
Authentic Icelandic sheepskins in natural white. Straight from the tannery in Europe. Our Icelandic sheepskins meet REACH standards for keeping harsh chemicals out of the environment and away from humans.
These sheepskins range in length from 40" to 43" (100cm to 110cm in length) with varying widths.
These sheepskins are not bleached, so there can be a range of natural white colours.
Although the tannery assures is that they send only A grade sheepskins, we do find that some don't meet Nat's standards. Please accept that Nat's does not individually grade the sheepskins offered in our wholesale collection.
To help you understand the dimensions of this beautiful sheepskin, please refer to 'how we measure sheepskins' in our footer menu. This guide provides clear information on our measurement techniques.
Icelandic sheepskins are genuinely remarkable. They possess a unique dual-coated woolly fleece, which typically features a softer inner layer for warmth and a slightly more coarse outer layer for natural protection. This distinctive characteristic is what makes an Icelandic sheepskin rug so special.
Our authentic Icelandic sheepskins are sourced directly from Iceland, where the sheep roam freely and lead beautiful lives amidst the stunning natural landscapes. This natural environment contributes to the unique qualities of their wool. Icelandic sheepskins come in a vast array of natural colors, offering incredible diversity. You'll find variations in wool length, with some featuring charming curly wool and others showcasing straight, long fibers. The texture also varies, from sumptuously soft to wonderfully coarse, adding to the individuality of each piece.
The length of the wool on these gorgeous Icelandic sheepskins can range from approximately 4" to 8" long, offering a luxurious depth and texture that will enhance any space.
While solid white and solid black Icelandic sheepskin rugs are more commonly found, we're particularly excited about the rarer finds like browns, spotted patterns, and greys, which truly stand out.
