For the long wool option, these handmade beds will be slightly larger, so please allow for minor variations in size. And guess what? It arrives stuffed with Canadian sheeps wool! We wanted a pet bed that offered a unique combination of features. First, it had to provide the natural warmth and comfort of real sheepskin pet, a material known for its breathability and soothing properties. Second, we envisioned an adjustable base and walls, allowing you to customize the level of cushioning needed for each individual pet's preference and support requirements. This is made possible by two zippers conveniently located on the base, giving you easy access to add more or less stuffing. Third, we designed its size to perfectly accommodate medium to small dogs and all cats, making it a versatile choice for many pet owners. Fourth, we insisted on using undyed, natural sheepskin that wasn't just plain white. These exquisite Highland Sheepskins boast a fabulous bronze color, adding a touch of rustic elegance to your home. Finally, we wanted to offer the choice of either short wool or a combination of long wool and short wool, catering to different aesthetic and tactile preferences.
These highland sheepskin pet beds are crafted by one of our wonderful tanneries in China. Rest assured, the sheepskin is tanned with the strictest European standards of REACH and certifications, guaranteeing a product that is not only beautiful but also safe and free from formaldehyde.
